Mayfield United have been selected as a host club for the FAI Michael Ward Inter-Provincial Tournament 2023. 

The tournament is scheduled to take place in Cork on the weekend of the 24th/25th/26th March and will see teams representing the three provinces of Munster, Leinster and Connacht compete against one another.

Speaking ahead of the tournament kick-off, Chairman Tadhg O'Neill spoke about his delight at Mayfield United hosting a number of the fixtures. 

"On behalf of our football club, I would like to express our deep gratitude for being selected to host the Michael Ward Inter-Provincial Tournament. It is a great honor for us and we take this responsibility very seriously. We look forward to providing an unforgettable experience for all the teams and fans who will be joining us for this tournament." 

Mayfield United's hosting duties start on Saturday 25th March, when Leinster Senior League play against Munster Senior League at 3pm in Mayfield Park. 

On Sunday 26th March, Mayfield Park will also play host to a match between Connacht FA and Munster Senior League at 10.45am.
