Mayfield United is committed to implementing standards and policies that ensure the best interests of children within the club take paramount importance. We believe that football should mean fun for all. In order to implement this belief, we aim to provide all our of players with a service that is fun, develops life skills, boosts personal growth and instigates new and life-long friendships.
It is the duty of all adults involved within the club to promote and adhere to best practice policies and standards that have been developed to protect our children. As a community organisation, we are aware of the responsibilities that we hold to children and young people who are in our care.
We constantly strive to improve our child welfare and player safety standards. This involves annual reviews and continuous monitoring of current policies and procedures. We have developed a Safeguarding Statement and conducted a Risk Assessment, both of which are available to view below.
