Our Senior team kicked-off their league season with a 3-2 victory at home to Wilton last Friday night. 

Mayfield came out on top in what was a tentative affair against the team from the southside of Cork City. 

Mayfield went 1-nil down early on but equalised around the 30 minute mark, thanks to a goal from Gary Gould. 

Shortly after half-time, Mayfield went ahead through Jack Stewart before being pegged back by Wilton to make it even-steven as the game headed into the final stages.  

A 3-2 victory was sealed through a second goal on the night from Gary Gould.
